Platform is working in partnership with Glenthorne High School & Esher Sixth Form College in offering a fantastic opportunity for players over 16 to join our football academy and gain a total football education without impacting their academic studies.
Programme Schedule
The sixth form college football programme will be led by Nick Ford & his team of UEFA qualified coaches and offers a wealth of experience at different levels of the game. Players that join our football programme will have the chance to train outside of curriculum hours with qualified football coaches in a structured environment. Players will then have the opportunity to represent the school/Platform in league games on a Wednesday afternoon, National Cup, Surrey Cup and local competitions when selected. Our experienced Head Coach might then have the chance to evaluate performances, suggest further football pathways and help with the development of the sixth form players.
Age & Timings
The academy is open to any players that are attending GHS sixth form or Esher Sixth Form College and the programme comes at no additional cost. Each player that joins the football programme will be asked to purchase the Joma training kit. Every player that joins the programme will be expected to portray our Platform values which promote Desire, Respect, Unity & Creativity.
